A bear cake for Zoe!

A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine asked me to make a birthday cake for her daughter’s 1st birthday party. I was excited to be able to contribute to her special day!

Her mom decided on a pink and brown party with a teddy bear theme. Adorable!

To fit in with the theme, we decided on a three tier cake with a 3d bear on top and a small smash cake for Zoe to tear into. (Which was super fun to watch!)

The tiers covered in chocolate fondant were chocolate cake with banana cream filling. The tier covered in pink fondant was white cake with banana cream filling. The bear on top was also made of white cake. Polka dots and the 1 on top were also made of fondant.
